Welsh Conservatives: Labour suspends councillor after ‘final solution’ Israel outburst

Cllr. Miqdad Al-Nuaimi, who has represented Labour on Newport City Council since 2000, tweeted: “A Final Solution for the Gazans, 2million people, Genocidal annihilation.”, and has now been suspended by the Labour Party. Commenting, Welsh Conservative Shadow Local Government Minister, Sam Rowlands MS said:

“It is deeply concerning that a Labour Councillor felt it appropriate to express such antisemitic views, especially after the horrific events that have taken place over the weekend.

“We must take a hard stance on this and stand with the Israeli people against these unprovoked terrorists attack.”
