Labour comments on "buried details of government’s bad housing loans"

Homes England, the government’s own housing agency, has disclosed losses of £148.3 million arising from bad loans in 2022/23, more than double the amount of losses disclosed by the agency in the previous three years combined. The losses have arisen from seven loan investments which had their value written down last year or were written off entirely.
