Luke Pollard responds to reports that military personnel are using foodbanks

Luke Pollard MP, Labour’s Shadow Armed Forces Minister, responding to reports that military personnel are using foodbanks, said:

“The Conservatives are failing frontline forces during the cost of living crisis.

“Our brave armed forces are essential to our national security and national resilience. They should not have to rely on food banks to feed their families. 

“Ministers must ensure that troops, who risk their lives to keep us safe, receive theright employment and housing support as this cost of living crisis continues to bite.”
