Which? responds as ministers urged to close ‘gulf’ between electric vehicles and charge points

Sue Davies, Which? Head of Consumer Protection Policy, said:

“Many people would like to make the switch to electric vehicles, but there are concerns about significant flaws with the UK's charging infrastructure.

"Our research found that a lot of drivers struggle to find reliable charging points in good working order and cannot rely on there being enough charging points close to their homes or to get them through a long journey.

“The government must ensure that drivers can have confidence that they will be able to access the charging infrastructure they need, no matter where they live and travel in the UK."
