, Member of Parliament for
Beverley and Holderness, has welcomed the Government's

grassroots sporting facilities across Beverley and

levelling up access to sport which is so important for the
nation’s physical and mental health.
“Today we are delivering more than 1700 new and improved
grassroots sports facilities across the UK to continue to
support, sustain and grow community and grassroots sport – so
that physical activity is accessible to all, no matter a person’s
background or location.”
Beverley and Holderness MP said: “I know that our
community sport clubs will get a massive boost from this funding
which will improve sporting facilities in Hornsea, Patrington and
Newbald. We are all aware of the power of sport to bring us
together and it is great there will be more opportunities to do
this across Beverley and Holderness.
