Wes Streeting responds to news that all ambulance services are now in 'critical incident' status

Wes Streeting MP, Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary, responding to reports that all ambulance services are now in 'critical incident' status, said:

"12 years of Conservative mismanagement has left our ambulance service in crisis.

"Patients are left for far longer than is safe and lives are being lost as a result.

"The Conservatives need to focus on running the country and get a grip on this.

"Labour will recruit, train and retain the staff our NHS needs to reach patients in time."
