The government is writing to the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs for advice on the appropriate classification and scheduling of Brorphine and Metonitazene under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 and, where appropriate, the Misuse of Drugs (Designation) Order 2015.
