EFRA Committee chooses Interim Chair

The Environment Food and Rural Affairs Committee has today chosen Geraint Davies MP (Labour, Swansea West) as its interim Chair.  

Geraint Davies MP will chair meetings of the Committee until a new substantive Chair is elected by the House. Details of this election will be announced by Mr Speaker in due course.  

A new Chair for the Committee was required following the resignation of Neil Parish as a Member of Parliament on 4 May 2022.
