The UK Health Security Agency has published qualitative assessment
of the risk that canine leishmaniosis presents to the UK
population. Leishmaniasis is the term used to cover a diverse group
of diseases of humans and other mammals (in which it is usually
called leishmaniosis), caused by obligate intracellular protozoan
parasites of the genus Leishmania. Canine leishmaniosis is
