Jonathan Reynolds responds to compensation for Horizon Post Office scandal victims

Jonathan Reynolds MP, Labour’s Shadow Business Secretary, commenting on the news that the Government will compensate victims of the Horizon Post Office scandal, said:

“The injustice and distress that the postmasters have gone through as a result of this scandal is nothing short of a disgrace. 

“Innocent people have had their lives ruined because of a Government mistake and it is only right that the Government have come forward with compensation as Labour has been calling for consistently. 

“We must uncover the truth about how this appalling miscarriage of justice could ever have happened and ensure it never happens again.”
