Luke Pollard MP, Labour’s Shadow Environment Secretary, responding
to news that the Government could allow animal tests for cosmetic
ingredients for first time since 1998, said: “Labour will robustly
oppose Tory plans to bring back testing of cosmetics on animals.
It’s sick and wrong. If the Tories change the law to allow animal
testing of cosmetics the next Labour Government will ban it.”
