Today, (Saturday 17 July) the parenting website Mumsnet publishes a
new poll of parents’ attitudes to this summer’s GCSE and A Level
grades. Around half (54%) of parents say awarding teacher-assessed
grades is not a fair process. Nick Brook, deputy general secretary
