SNP pledge to scrap council tax for your Scots

Scotland’s Finance Secretary Kate Forbes has pledged that a re-elected SNP Government will scrap council tax charges for under 22s. Raising the age at which Scots become eligible for council tax from 18 to 22 is expected to save young people in their own homes hundreds of pounds a year.
