Lucy Powell comments on the number of businesses unclear on Brexit readiness

Lucy Powell MP, Labour's Shadow Minister for Business and Consumers, said:

"It's unsurprising that so many businesses aren't sure they will be ready for the end of the transition period. Businesses are in the dark and trying to prepare for January 1 without knowing what they're preparing for.

"Boris Johnson promised businesses across this country an oven-ready deal and he must get on and deliver it."
