How effective is UK policy in protecting biodiversity? The EAC hears from wildlife organisations, the Natural Capital Committee and Balfour Beatty

Continuing the inquiry on Biodiversity and Ecosystems, the Environmental Audit Committee will now hear evidence on domestic policy and implementation aimed at protecting biodiversity.

The session will examine progress against the 25 Year Environmental Plan, biodiversity targets within the Environment Bill, biodiversity net gain, nature recovery networks and the Environmental Land Management Scheme.
