Minister to announce the Falklands are now "landmine free"

Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americas Wendy Morton
will announce (on Tuesday, November 10) that the Falklands is now
landmine-free after the UK-funded Falklands Demining Programme
completed its mission of removing all landmines from the 1982
conflict. She will also announce the programme has been allocated
an extra £36 million in funding to extend its programme to South
