Following the resignations from the Labour front bench of MPs who
defied the party whip on the third reading of the Covert Human
Intelligence Sources (CHIS) Bill, Labour Leader Keir Starmer MP has
confirmed three appointments today. James Murray, previously an
Opposition Whip, replaces Dan Carden as Shadow Financial Secretary
