“This latest announcement shows the complete mess the Government is making of immigration reforms. They are placing our health and social care sector at huge risk, at a time when it’s never been more precious.

"The Tories have gone out of their way to undermine care workers and make the UK a less attractive place for them to work, because they consider them unskilled. It’s now clear that this needs a serious rethink, before some of the most vulnerable people in our care homes are left without the support they desperately need.”
