that, in the present crisis, some tenants will be under especial
pressure—both economic and social—and have therefore introduced
changes to give breathing space before evictions can be effected.
This is sensible but, surely, we must also consider the effects on
many landlords, who are also under enormous pressure and who may
well be exemplary in their treatment of their tenants. They also
