Jo Stevens responds to DCMS Business Survey

Jo Stevens MP, Labour’s Shadow Culture Secretary responding to the results of the DCMS Business Survey, said: 

“These figures show exactly what the sector has been saying consistently throughout this crisis. COVID-19 is challenging the resilience, revenues and futures of businesses in the sector and too many have been left to face the crisis without access to Government support schemes.

“Our digital and creative industries will be key to any successful UK economic recovery, but without urgent support the Government risks a sector collapse and an exodus of specialist skills and talent. Without that urgent support, post-COVID recovery and renewal is at risk.“
