New data shows huge differences in home schooling set to widen educational divide during coronavirus epidemic

The Department for Opportunities, the campaign arm of the Social Mobility Foundation, today publishes a YouGov poll showing 40 per cent of children from low income households – those with incomes of less than £20,000 a year - do not have a quiet room in which they can study during the Coronavirus shut down.
