Purpose of the session

The Committee will be aiming to:

• Understand the consequences of the Government’s Coronavirus Action Plan, (published on 3 March 2020), for police and Border Force; 
• Test the robustness of central guidance to police on their business continuity planning;
• Identify concerns for staff working for Border Force in Immigration Removal Centres and in other functions;
• Discover any outstanding issues for the police or Border Force in addressing COVID-19.
