Steve Double (St Austell and Newquay) (Con): The Government
have rightly committed to net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The
plan includes phasing out petrol and diesel cars by 2035, which is
going to mean a huge increase in demand for critical minerals such
as lithium. The Leader of the House may be aware that Cornwall is
rich in lithium and many other minerals used for the motor
industry, so can we have a statement from the Government about
