The Science and Technology Committee has published the correspondence received from UK universities and English NHS Trusts, in response to letters sent from the Chair in early 2019. The Science and Technology Committee has published the correspondence received from UK universities and English NHS Trusts, in response to letters sent from the Chair in early 2019. This correspondence forms part of the Committee’s follow-up on its previous Report on Research integrity: clinical trials transparency, which was published in October 2018.

As of 30 October 2019, the response rate to the Chair’s correspondence is:

▪ Of the 41 UK universities contacted, 88% (36) responded; and

▪ Of the 99 English NHS Trusts contacted, 66% (65) responded
