Private Bill intoduced in the Lords: Pensions (Amendment) Bill - Oct 30

A Bill to amend the Pensions Act 2004 and the Companies Act 2006 to remove the cap on compensation payments under the Pension Protection Fund and to require the approval of pension scheme trustees and the Pensions Regulator for the distribution of dividends.

The Bill was introduced by Lord Balfe, read a first time and ordered to be printed.


NB: Due to the dissolution of Parliament on Nov 5, this Bill will be lost. However, there is every chance it will be re-introduced in the next session of Parliament after the General Election
