DCMS Committee seeks evidence on the contribution of gardens to UK’s economy and tourism

Research conducted by VisitBritain has found that a third of overseas tourists to the UK spent part of their trip at a park or garden, more than those who spent time at a museum, castle, historic house or art gallery.*   The Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee is launching a short inquiry to explore how gardens contribute to UK tourism, the economy and to our national heritage.
