During the Business Statement today, the Leader of the House,
Andrea Leadsom, announced that the Government were not yet in a
position to bring forward the motion for the date of the Easter
Recess. It is currently scheduled to start at the end of Business
on Thursday, April 4th with the Commons returning on Tuesday, April
23rd, but has to be approved by the House. It is possible that the
first week of it (w/c April 8) may now be a sitting week, or it may
