Cyber Security of the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure: Government Response to the Committee’s Third Report of Session 2017-19

The Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy will publish its Third Special Report ‘Cyber Security of the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure: Government Response to the Committee’s Third Report of Session 2017–19’ on Thursday 7 March 2018 at 11.00am.

The Report will be made available on the Committee’s website, www.parliament.uk/jcnss, at 11am.

Major cyber attacks on the UK and its interests have been categorised by the Government as a top-tier threat to national security since 2010; reaffirmed by the Government’s National Security Capability Review in March 2018. 

Government identified thirteen national infrastructure sectors essential to the functioning of daily life: chemicals, civil nuclear, communications, defence, emergency services, energy, finance, food, government, health, space, transport and water.
