John McDonnell responds to Jim Ratcliffe investment news

John McDonnell MP, Labour’s Shadow Chancellor, responding to the news that Sir Jim Ratcliffe plans to invest £1bn in the UK,said:

“Jim Ratcliffe might be announcing a £1 billion investment, but let’s not forget that he and his executives were planning to avoid paying up to £4bn worth of tax. The British public are fed up with there being one rule for the rich and one for the rest of us.”
