Rachel Maclean MP backs Hizballah ban

Following the decision by a majority of MPs to back the Government’s ban on Hizballah, Rachel said:

“The first priority of any Government is to protect its citizens. This tough action to ban Hizballah, Ansaroul Islam and JNIM was needed to protect our country from terror groups who are hellbent on threatening our safety and security.

“What was truly shocking was Jeremy Corbyn’s refusal to whip his MPs to support banning Hizballah. This is a terrorist organisation which seeks the destruction of Israel and has killed innocent Israelis.

“Time and time again Mr Corbyn fails to stand-up to terrorists and anti-Semites. His actions really aren’t surprising though considering he once called Hizballah his ‘friends.’ This man is a threat to our national security and we cannot let him anywhere 10 Downing Street.”
