The Electronic Identification and Trust Services for Electronic Transactions (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018

This instrument amends provisions deriving from European Union Regulation “(EU) No 910/2014 of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market and repealing Directive 1999/93/EC” (“eIDAS Regulation”). This is retained in domestic law under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (“the Act”). This instrument repeals the electronic identification aspects and retains the trust services.
