Extract from Defence questions in the House of Commons

Defence Minister Tobias Ellwood today pledged to help armed forces veterans to return to the Falklands.

He was replying to Dr Julian Lewis (Cons, New Forest East), who asked if veterans could be given the opportunity to revisit battlefields on which they had fought.

Mr Ellwood said: “I think the Rt Hon. gentleman was referring to a return to the Falklands. I will endeavour to see what can be done to see if we can use the airbridge to allow veterans to return to that battle place."
