Mr Sam Gyimah (The Minister of State for Universities, Science,
Research and Innovation):I am pleased to announce today that the
Secretary of State for Education has appointed Dame Shirley Pearce
DBE to report on the operation of the Teaching Excellence and
Student Outcomes Framework (TEF) in line with the process set out
in section 26 of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017. The
Review will commence in December this year and we expect the
