Diane Abbott Speech on Labour's Immigration policy

Diane Abbott MP, Shadow Home Secretary, will be delivering the third in a series of speeches on immigration.

Unlike the Tories, Labour is preparing for government in a post Brexit world. The Shadow Home Secretary will be outlining Labours new immigration policy "fit for the next Labour Government " and fit for a post-Brexit Britain.

She will set out Labour's common-sense, simplified and fair immigration policy that puts prosperity first and supports the needs of our economy.

The Shadow Home Secretary will go on to set out how this new immigration policy will address labour shortages in NHS, social care and elsewhere, alongside the Labour party???s strategy of boosting the minimum wage and tackling the gender pay gap. Labour will also commit to treating all migrants fairly, reasonably and equally.
