Health and Social Care Committee will hold its first evidence session on Prison Health

Health and Social Care Committee will hold its first session on the prison health inquiry. The Committee will hear from charities, regulators and the Prison and Probation Ombudsman about the key issues affecting the health and wellbeing of people in prison and their experiences of health and social care services. The session will cover mental health and substance misuse in prisons, including suicide, self-harm and deaths as well as issues affecting older prisoners.
